Mike Jones– Mike Jones moved to Knoxville with his wife in 2021 following his retirement from the U.S. Navy after 25 years.
The son of a military service member, Mike’s childhood took him from such varied locations as Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Virginia and Iceland (to name a few). When asked, “Where are you from,” he usually answers “Earth.” His musical journey began at the age of 12 with a Ramones mix tape and a Harmony acoustic guitar. Self-taught, left-handed Mike restrung his right-handed Harmony, and never looked back.
His influences are as varied as his previous mailing addresses: Robert Johnson, The Beatles Bob Dylan, and Noel Gallagher top the list. He enjoys writing and performing original material when he isn’t getting attacked by his wife’s cat.
