The Lime Green was formed over 30 years ago outside of NYC, and the music reflects the spirit of friendship they share. There has been a different rotation of players around the core, but the spirit is the same. Songs are formed in a collaborative atmosphere, giving every member a voice that highlights their individual talents. The musical influences are too vast to name, as all the current members grew up in different places up and down the east coast and Appalachia. The catalog takes listeners to places of love, loss, history, jealousy, loyalty, perjury, injury, ecstasy, and oh yea, love. The Lime Green as a name is an explanation from an old friend who described the music as”it’s not blue, but I wouldn’t call it yellow.
